Mildred Little Dribblers is a community based non-profit league that supports and organizes youth basketball activities and teams for the children of Mildred ISD communities (Mildred, Navarro, Eureka, and surrounding areas).  

Each year Mildred Little Dribblers organizes teams from age 4-14 in different age groups to provide a positive, fun environment for all children in the community who have a sincere desire to learn the game of basketball. Players learn the game and develop basketball skills during practices and games that focus on the fundamentals of basketball.

In addition to supporting community youth through its basketball programs, Mildred Little Dribblers has also been a valuable asset to the community by assisting in the repair and maintenance of athletic facilities used by the entire community, hosting tournaments that bring in numerous visitors to the community, providing youth scholarships, as well as preparing our youth for basketball at the high school level.

Mildred ISD basketball programs benefit by having a group of young boys and girls who have the fundamental skills that a school coach can build upon. Each year many of the High Schools that have teams in the Texas UIL State Basketball Tournament, have benefited from a strong local Little Dribbler's league.  

The ultimate goal of Mildred Little Dribblers is not to develop outstanding basketball players; it is to develop outstanding young men and women who can play great basketball. This is done teaching our players cooperation, team work, communication and citizenship along with, dribbling, shooting and defense.  

Although we fully support Mildred ISD and its athletic programs, Mildred Little Dribblers is self-funded and supported by community volunteers and is not financially supported by the district or tax payer funds.
